Hercule II red
The top version of the entire Prokop & Brož sports watch collection. Every model and version of the Hercule / Hector watches features a unique construction that allows the rotating rings to be exchanged easily, a system the company has patented worldwide. It makes it easy to change the ring’s design, material or color, or simply to swap it for a ring with a different scale when you need to prepare the watch for another type of use. The watches are designed to be worn not only with a classic leather strap (as standard) but, in the future, also with an integrated rubber strap. Hercule II differs from the base version in its relocated crown, which is tucked into the “lee” of the upper right lug of the case, at a position between 1 and 2 o’clock. The crown guard thus blends more with the lug. This construction is intended to further reduce the risk of minor abrasions that could bother the wearer during long swims in the sea, for example. The watch is the result of consultations with experienced long-distance swimmers. In this configuration, the watch is also coated with BlackTop technology on all case components (case, caseback, crown, scale) as well as on the cover of the steel strap buckle. Alternatively, the bezel of the rotating ring, which is made of duralumin for decorative anodizing, can be treated with the same technology. This is not classic anodizing, however, but so-called hard anodizing, which offers a considerably longer service life. It is still duralumin, though, a material softer than stainless steel, let alone its hardened versions, which we can also offer.
