Regulator

Regulator is a watchmaking term for a watch in which the hands, and thus their scales, rotate around separate centers. This layout has a very classic look, as it evokes the historical development of the whole craft. The movement of this watch, caliber PB 25, has a central minute hand and an hour dial between the center and 12 o’clock, while the seconds dial sits in the more usual position above 6 o’clock. This model belongs to a family of classic dress watches that share a historicizing dial design (hours marked in Roman numerals, minutes and seconds in Arabic numerals) and Breguet hands. The family also includes the Trias models and all versions labeled Excentr and Classic.
