The Spirit 8 is another variant of the Spirit model, distinguished by a double-radius cylindrical crystal made of C-orientation sapphire with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The parting plane between the crystal and the case is unusually horizontal and extends into the sides of the case, whose profile is otherwise identical to the Classic / Lapilus / Period models. The BM version – Blue Metallization – refers to the color of the metallization of the crystal joint. The number 8, in turn, points to the PB80 caliber used, which has an off-center seconds hand placed between seven and eight o’clock. On request, the crystal can also be supplied in a gold finish.
