Diamant
A one-off piece based on the Modern-type case, used for example for the Opus and Dubai models. The watch stands out for the unique relief structure of its dial, made up of hundreds of tiny round mirror-polished facets angled in different directions so that they create a sparkling effect when viewed from different sides. The dial carries raised trapezoidal indices, and at 12 o’clock sits a black diamond, specially cut into a shape that precisely matches the design and proportions of the dial and hands. The watch is also notable as the very first use of the PB 30 HS caliber. Until now, only a fully skeletonized version of this caliber with a central seconds hand had been available. This is the highest possible specification, with a black-ruthenium-plated main plate, rhodium-plated bridges, swan-neck fine regulation and a screw-balanced oscillator. From the base model, which sits between dress and casual style, it takes over the unique partially chrome-plated, triple-radius cylindrical sapphire crystal, this time without the logos around the edge, as this model allows the classic maker’s signature on the dial.
