Project X

The “X” watch shown here belongs to a so-called closed private series, so its design is reserved exclusively for its current owners. Its most distinctive feature is the relief dial, whose base microstructure was milled with a special pneumatic spindle reaching speeds of up to 120,000 rpm. This made it possible to mill a very fine and precise relief only 0.03mm deep. Together with the in-house hour and minute hands, it is further proof of the growing manufacturing independence of Prokop & Brož, which opens up more room for creativity in designing further one-off pieces, limited editions and private series.
